Wrangler 4-Door Sahara trims come equipped with a 2.0L I4 DOHC DI turbo engine. Top-of-the-line 4-Door Rubicon 392 and 4-Door Rubicon 392 Final Edition models come with a 6.4L V8 SRT HEMI I MDS Engine. A six-speed manual transmission comes standard on two-door models which can tow up to 2,000 pounds, while the three four-door versions get an eight-speed automatic 850RE transmission that can pull as much as 3,500 pounds. Jeep's Off-Road Plus package - a standard feature on several trims - lets drivers automatically adjust key systems, (throttle, Traction Control, and Transmission Shift Mode) for optimal performance on various types of terrain.
Notable exterior features found on this year's Wrangler include an Injection Molded Black Rear Bumper, a molded black or steel front bumper, and an available Satin-Black Grille by Mopar. All models come with 17-inch wheels with a choice of several different finishes, including aluminum or black paint.
